![]() | How can I replace a missing tooth? |
![]() | There are numerous ways to replace a missing tooth or several missing teeth. They range from a simple removable appliance to extensive "permanent" options involving crowns, bridges or implants. A comprehensive exam including x-rays of all of the teeth will allow Dr. Fishbaine to assess your needs and review the options. |
![]() | How often do I need to have dental cleanings and exams? |
![]() | This question has often been debated and revisited in dental literature. For most people, professional cleanings twice a year seems to be optimal. Dental examinations are done at the same time to insure satisfactory tooth and gum health. More frequent scaling (cleanings) may need to be performed for patients who experience gum disease. For other patients, once a year may be adequate, especially if they have extraordinary oral health! |
![]() | How often do I need dental x-rays? |
![]() | We generally recommend that our adult patients have a full mouth series of dental x-rays or a panorex taken once every 5 years. In between those times, routine check-up films (bitewings) are taken for most of our patients. All of our x-rays are digital. This allows us to capture crisp, clear images at significantly reduced exposure times as compared to x-ray film. |
![]() | Do you accept my dental insurance? |
![]() | Payment is required at the time of treatment. However, as a value added service, we electronically file all insurance claims and follow up with them as necessary. This results in timely reimbursements for our patients. |
![]() | Do you offer payment plans? |
![]() | We have arranged an excellent program with Capital One which allows our patients many different payment options. In addition, we do accept personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards. |
